UPDATE: RENEWAL OF THE ONTARIO ACCORD

Over the past few months, the OAN’s Advisory Committee of People Living with HIV/AIDS have led a process that ensured that diverse voices from every corner of the province have been involved in helping us create the next iteration of the Ontario Accord and Living and Serving.

Reflecting on this work, Advisory Committee Co-Chair, Valerie Kuye, expressed, “I would like to thank the members of the Advisory Committee for their diligent work through this process of consultation. Your contributions are greatly recognized and highly appreciated.”

Data Collection
Now, with the data collection phase of this work is almost closed, we sincerely thank everyone who provided feedback throughout this process. This includes more than 100 focus group participants, fifteen key informants, and more than 130 survey participants. “I’m extremely grateful for the large number of people interested in supporting this work. The committee is impressed by the amount of data collected so far and looks forward to reviewing the results over the coming weeks,” says Advisory Committee Co-Chair, Gord Asmus.

What’s Next?
The OAN expects that a new version of the Accord will be ready for Member and community feedback in a few months. Look for updates about this work and a information about the new Accord in this newsletter.
