Position: Positive Leadership Development Institute (PLDI) National Coordinator

Responsible to: PLDI Executive Committee (OAN, PAN, COCQ-SIDA Executive Directors)
The Positive Leadership Development Institute, PLDI is a three module leadership training program consisting of Core Leadership Training Who am I as a leader?, Bored? Get on Board! (Board governance training) and Communication Skills Training led by and for people living with HIV, was created in 2006. The purpose of this highly-valued series of three- and four-day training programs is to support people living with HIV/AIDS to realize their leadership potential and meaningful participation in community life.
In 2009 the Ontario AIDS Network (OAN) partnered with the Pacific AIDS Network (PAN) and the program strengthened even more and has gone beyond the borders of Ontario and now operates both in Australia and New Zealand. We are ecstatic to announce we are now partnering with la Coalition des organismes communautaires québécois de lutte contre le sida (COCQ-SIDA) in Quebec. This is a five-year project and we are looking for a highly skilled and self-motivated individual to support and orchestrate the expansion of the program in all three provinces.
