Remembering Ruthann

Friends, family, community members, and loved ones are invited to join together in memory of Ruthann Tucker on Thursday, August 15th at the Tony Di Pede Residence, in Toronto.

Ruthann dedicated her life to HIV/AIDS communities, working at the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT), AIDS Vancouver Island, Fife House, the Ontario HIV Treatment Network (OHTN), and The Hamilton AIDS Network.

Ruthann’s vision, drive and passion led to Fife House’s largest expansion of housing and support services. The Tony Di Pede Residence / Wellesley Central Residence is the culmination of her incredible work, and provides 112 units of supportive housing, as well as acting as the site of our Transitional Housing Program, Wellness Programs, Community Programs and Fife House’s home.

Fife is pleased to dedicate the agency’s rooftop healing garden as the Ruthann Tucker Memorial Garden in recognition of her incredible contribution to the organization.
