Join Iona Sky, a renowned public speaker and educator, for an interactive 2-session virtual
learning event focused on creating inclusive workplaces and services for Two Spirit, Lesbian,
Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual (2SLGBTQIA+) identities, with a focused lens
on improving inclusion and representation of trans individuals.
This session directly responds to a key recommendation from the 2024 Equity Diversity
Inclusion & Accessibility (EDIA) audit conducted by the Ontario AIDS Network, which
revealed a significant gap in transgender representation across HIV/AIDS service
organizations, a critical equity gap in how our sector supports and includes gender-expansive
communities.
Walk away with knowledge, resources, and strategies to address barriers 2SLGBTQIA+ people,
especially trans individuals, face when working within or accessing your organization. This
training is an opportunity to strengthen inclusive practices where they are most needed.
