It’s clear that we’re facing a unique and complicated public health crisis in Ontario and we need to ensure that people in Ontario’s HIV sector are informed and prepared to respond. We are committed to sharing information and resources as they become available and would like to share some important updates.
As we navigate the Coronavirus crisis, many agencies have had to close their doors to help protect staff, clients and their stakeholders. Public forums and activities have also been cancelled or rescheduled across the sector and many organizations are doing their best to provide remote support, so feel free to check in with them as needed.
Before visiting an agency, we suggest you call or check their website or social media for updates. We will do our best to keep you updated about agency closures or major developments, so check our website for additional information.
The following links also provide daily updates on the COVID-19 situation, so keep informed and keep safe:
Please consider monitoring updates from your local public health unit. If you need to find your local public health unit please go here.
Finally, please note that in the interest of our staff the OAN office is closed until further notice. Our work will continue as usual and our staff will be working at home and have full access to email and voicemail – so please feel free to touch base.
Wishing you, your families and loved one, strength, peace and safety as we weather these turbulent times.
