Our work to update the Ontario Accord and renew our sector’s commitment to GIPA/MEPA is underway!
Over the past few weeks, the OAN’s Advisory Committee of People Living with HIV has been holding focus groups for our members and Ontario’s community of people living with HIV. But we want to hear from everyone.
Have Your Say in the Ontario Accord Survey
If participating in a focus group is not right for you, tell us what you think by completing the Ontario Accord Survey. This is your opportunity to share your thoughts, have your say and help create the next Ontario Accord. Complete the survey by following the link below, and enter to win a prize.
Complete the Survey and Enter to Win a Prize!
We’re giving away three prizes in each of our four regions (Central, West, East, North). Anyone who participates in the survey can enter to win a draw for one of three Everything Card gift cards valued at $300, $200, $100 each.
See EverythingCard.ca for a list of stores.

About the Ontario Accord and GIPA/MEPA
Created in 2011/12, The Ontario Accord is a set of principles and values that centre MEPA and GIPA (the meaningful engagement of people living with HIV/AIDS, and the greater involvement of people living with HIV /AIDS) in the work of Ontario’s HIV/AIDS sector.
The Ontario Accord on GIPA/MEPA, outlines six action points regarding the engagement of people living with HIV in the HIV/AIDS organizations that serve them.
A new Accord will be launched early in 2022.
