DESCRIPTION:CATIE is offering an Hepatitis C Basics course across Ontario!\nHepatitis C Basics\nJune 10th – July 10th\nOnline meeting: July 10th, 1-3 p.m. E.D.T.\nRegister here: https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/7829935/HCB-ONT-0624\nThe purpose of the course is to support frontline service providers to talk to their clients about hepatitis C transmission, testing, treatment, and prevention.\nThis course includes approximately five – six hours of online instruction delivered over four weeks. It includes weekly self-directed modules and collaborative discussion boards facilitated by a CATIE educator, and an interactive online meeting with our educators and fellow learners.  CATIE’s Hepatitis C Basics course aims to build foundational knowledge of hepatitis C, covering topics such as hepatitis C transmission, testing, treatment, and prevention. Participants will also learn about the social and structural factors that lead to certain populations being disproportionately affected by hepatitis C. This course will assist front-line service providers to accurately discuss hepatitis C with their clients and provide support around hepatitis C prevention, testing, treatment and care.\nMore information about this Hepatitis C Basics training\nAudience\nAre you a service provider who works with people who are living with hepatitis C? Then this course is for you!\nWeekly topic breakdown\nHepatitis C Basics includes four online modules that include a variety of learning activities such as e-learning units, readings, discussion board assignments, videos and webinars. You can work through each weekly online module at your own pace.
